Lanternbound retains the original Buster sound data and music. No new composition or original-hardware recording is claimed.
All ten ZMD files and the 51,102-byte PCM sample bank are byte-identical disk extractions. mus00 and mus07 contain identical sequence bytes; both source names are retained. zacmint is loaded in the game’s sound-effects mode and is kept as a separate sequence rather than labeled as a full music track.
Playback uses emulated FM and ADPCM through z-music.js and its Z-MUSIC 2.08 driver. This is live synthesis, not an original-hardware recording. The game’s separate driver is preserved in the source archive.
