WONDER BOY IN MONSTER WORLD / GENESIS AUDIO

Music.

Every music entry in the supplied cartridge’s original sound table, rendered through its Westone Z80 driver. Repeating pieces retain the intro before the recovered score loop; finite jingles play once.

Recovery and playback notes

Loop recovery compares all active sequence pointers, relative note timers, voice settings and active nested loop/call stacks. Serial note tags and unused stack memory are excluded. A second score recurrence is checked. The global fractional tempo phase is excluded: a melodic pass can vary slightly in duration on the next repeat, so the packaged interval is a fixed score-loop audition, not proof of an exact full-chip period. Boundaries are sampled at video-frame precision (about 16.7 ms), and FM/PSG oscillator/envelope phase is not asserted to match. Web Audio loopStart and loopEnd repeat the decoded interval without an HTML audio restart or end pause. A three-millisecond browser-only tail correction softens any sample discontinuity; downloadable files remain unchanged.

These are new native-core recordings from the unchanged supplied ROM, kept separate from the extracted original binary data. The complete 32 KiB sound bank, command table and command headers are available with offsets and hashes. Names remain command-based until gameplay use is verified. The primary disassembly’s reference ROM differs from the supplied file in one header byte; its complete sound bank is identical.
