Across the Cleft to a night in Jad

Story travel and a free inn rest

Version0.7.0 continues from the Cleft cave through the lower canyon path, bridge story, Golden Road narration and sea voyage. In Jad it hears the sailor, follows the clear street to the inn, accepts a free room and chooses to wake at night. It declines the optional native save prompt, exits and checks the nighttime scene and Duran’s restored88/88HP.

The combined task begins at the first Highlands victory, clears six more Assassin Bugs with the existing enemy/reward checks, then follows the new trip. Normal SNES inputs and read-only observations drive an authored controller informed by genuine demonstrations. No external model service is used.

Checkpoint repair

After the intro, the game can populate its fourth working SRAM block while all three adventure slots remain empty. The page now recognizes those empty user slots correctly, allowing genuine snapshots to be captured. Checks for damaged populated saves remain in place. This does not turn the working block into a native adventure save.

Try the trained route

Open an adventure file and restore the owner’s Cleft checkpoint in slot1, Duran43/88HP near88,113, or the first Highlands victory in slot8, Duran78/88HP near163,173. Choose the matching new task and Watch bot play. Pause ends a run; restore its starting checkpoint to restart. Take over returns normal control.

The route pauses outside the Jad inn at night. Later areas, general inventory/healing decisions, level-up handling, bosses, full campaign play, arbitrary goals and cross-game play still need training. Training snapshots remain separate from native statue saves.
