Its own place in the archive

This is the Mega Man X preservation collection. Music, effects and images from the other two games have separate sections and inventories.

Start with the audio player or browse the extracted stage maps, tile sheets and palettes. Preservation is ongoing: image views are exports of recovered game data, and coverage notes identify unresolved mappings.

Music that keeps playing

The player starts in Repeat track mode. Verified native loop points retain the opening once, then cycle the repeating region. A cue without verified loop points repeats its complete recording and is labeled accordingly.

27 of 33 recovered music cues currently carry verified loop bounds. Repeat all and Repeat off are also available. Sound effects have their own filter.
