CCOSOM GAME PRESERVATION
October 25, 2026 · Website update 0.1.2

Your next step.
Always in view.

Finished walkthrough objectives move out of the active route and into a Completed tasks view beside the original Chrono Trigger player.

A route that moves with you

Automatic story checks and manually checked objectives now leave the active route. The remaining steps move up, keeping the next unfinished objective easy to find. Completed tasks retains the checked objectives and lets you undo an incorrect check.

Leave Crono’s house now checks automatically once you reach the opening overworld, rather than waiting for the first collision at the fair. Real game input verified the exit, return indoors and menu guards; loading a pre-exit state restores that unfinished task.

Your existing browser checklist, manual choices and import/export format are retained. Returning to an earlier game state can restore later automatically checked objectives to the active route; manual choices remain yours to change.

Automatic tracking follows verified running-game evidence. Optional objectives, item sweeps and actions without reliable game evidence still have manual checkboxes. The guide does not claim every individual action is detected.

Validation and coverage

All 38 checklist, queue and house-exit checks passed. Untouched-ROM native play produced the opening memory evidence; a browser fixture check verified that the real captured exit checks the task, promotes Meet Marle and retains or reverses the evidence correctly. Browser checks also covered manual undo, reload persistence, keyboard focus and tabs, and a 390-pixel layout with its first objective visible. Full-campaign and physical-controller coverage remain as recorded in the project status.

The original ZIP and cartridge are preserved. Runtime, snapshot and SRAM formats remain unchanged.
