The original demo expected a prepared RAM disk. Its supplied startup never filled it.
We preserved the supplied DIM and ZIP, extracted and hashed the sector payload, and tested its original boot. Voices and Japanese dialogue ran, but the illustrations were absent. A separate startup repair now expands the three original graphics archives to drive C: before starting the unchanged presentation program.
The browser viewer offers pause, restart, voice volume, playback speed, fullscreen and edition-specific checkpoints. The unmodified startup remains available for comparison alongside both original downloads and reproducible preservation sources.
About cheats
This disk contains an automatic story presentation. It has no playable battles, health meter or spendable magic. Invincibility and unlimited magic do not apply to this demo. Playback speed, pause, restart and browser checkpoints are available in the viewer.
This is the automatic Gold Cats Project presentation, not a full action RPG. The author’s notes explicitly say the final part was unfinished and no music was made. The complete observed sequence returns to the system prompt.
