A demo, with its original limits. The included author’s notes describe an unfinished presentation created to bring a small part of Fray to the X68000. This is not a full action RPG.

Recovered startup

The demo expected its pictures on a RAM disk, but the supplied batch file never unpacked them there. The restored startup runs the three original graphics archives on drive C: before launching the unchanged presentation program.

About cheats

This disk contains an automatic story presentation. It has no playable battles, health meter or spendable magic. Invincibility and unlimited magic do not apply to this demo. Playback speed, pause, restart and browser checkpoints are available in the viewer.

Preserved alongside the restoration

The supplied DIM and ZIP, the exact sector payload, and the separate repaired startup are retained with SHA-256 identities. The original Japanese text and graphics are unchanged. The author explicitly states that music was never made for this release.
