SUPER NINTENDO · EUROPEAN REVISION 1 · 1990/1991
One cartridge.
A whole world to preserve.
Play the supplied original Super Mario World, follow the 96-exit route, listen to the native soundtrack and explore graphics recovered from the cartridge.

THE ADVENTURE
Play the original →
A self-hosted SNES player with a left-hand route, optional cheats, touch and controller controls, adjustable fast-forward and rewind.
THE SOUND
Music & sound effects →
Original sequenced music rendered through its own sound driver and instrument banks. Search, downloads, shuffle and verified native loops.
THE PIXELS
Artwork archive →
2,088 source-bound images: sprites and player poses, objects, native scene layers, title art, overworld terrain and retained tile sheets.
A source you can trace.
The supplied archive contains the European revision 1.1 ROM with a 512-byte copier header. The original ZIP and full headered image are retained unchanged. Browser tooling uses a separately labeled derivative with only the copier header removed. The ROM’s native checksum matches.
Every recovered asset is tied to that derivative and a pinned disassembly revision. Raw tiles and palette previews are labeled separately from assembled sprites and scenes. No new art replaces the original pixels.

All 52 compressed graphics resources are extracted and byte-checked. Finished artwork coverage remains incomplete: custom boss assemblies, cape/Yoshi attachments, complete scrolling scenes, palette variants and some menus still need audit. The original game runs through SNES emulation; this project does not claim a newly rebuilt game or a verified 96-exit playthrough.
The route is a manual checklist. Browser checkmarks and native SNES SRAM are separate. Native saving uses the original game’s save prompts; ordinary stage clears alone do not save.
Published preview — gameplay, save and controller verification incomplete. Animation and finished artwork coverage are also incomplete. Browser save persistence, complete forward/reverse and assist coverage, and controller reconnection remain unverified. Keep a downloaded SRAM backup when using the original game’s save prompts.
