Keep the original sound.

MP3 downloads are compact listening copies. WAV files preserve the rendered 32 kHz stereo PCM. Derived SPC files carry the original driver, bank, samples and native sound command for compatible players.

Recovery method & coverage

“Game-style loop” follows a sequence loop declared in the ROM and observed in the original sound driver. It retains the intro and repeats the measured loop section. “Repeat whole file” restarts the entire render. Finite jingles and unverified loops have no game-style loop option.

Native timer and tempo accumulators can vary a cycle’s duration slightly; the metadata retains the observed periods. A browser buffer repeats one measured cycle. Instrument samples alone are not presented as a soundtrack.
