Optional assists.
A little more choice.

The original US game now has clearly labeled, optional cheats, regular-coin pickup multipliers, an Audio priority option and a live game-speed readout.

Health, coins and the Vibe Gauge

Infinite health, Infinite coins and Unlimited Vibe Gauge each have their own switch. All three start off, and coin pickups start at Normal · 1×. The health and gauge assists use the game's own maximum fields, preserving purchased capacity upgrades. Infinite coins keeps the ordinary wallet at 999,999 while enabled.

The pickup menu offers Normal · 1×, Double · 2× and Triple · 3× for regular coins. It changes the two original regular-coin addition instructions, including the larger ordinary coin reward. Purchases, loads, automatic wallet top-ups, Toads, unique items and other collectibles do not become multiplied pickups.

All cheats off clears the optional selections and restores the known original pickup instructions. Turning a switch off stops its future effect; money already granted, purchases and ordinary saved health/gauge values remain part of the game. Export a snapshot first when you want an unchanged checkpoint.

Keep your current choices when loading

Loading or importing a snapshot reapplies the current assist selections, including normal pickup behavior when no multiplier is selected. Cheat selections are not imported from a snapshot and do not persist across a page reload. After a setting changes, the game must advance a frame before a new snapshot can be captured, so a paused, pending change cannot be mistaken for an applied one. Existing browser-save names and portable snapshot formats remain compatible.

Audio priority, when you need it

The user confirmed that in-game music improved after an extra QA emulator was closed. This release does not change the default sound buffer or claim that a larger buffer repaired the issue.

Audio priority is optional and starts off. It draws fewer pictures to reduce rendering work while the game continues its normal emulated timing and audio processing. Its preference is kept separately from game saves. A small game-speed readout uses the running engine's frame counter and shows Paused when appropriate. Short browser test windows are not a guarantee of performance on every computer.

What was verified

Native original-ROM tests and actual browser checks cover the optional assists, regular-coin multipliers, off restoration, snapshot load handling, the one-frame capture guard, and the Audio priority controls. The dated browser QA record and assist verification record distinguish observations and remaining limits. Private arithmetic and mock tests support those checks without replacing actual game observations.

The initial, uncorrected private sound-buffer comparison was not a valid 64-versus-128-ms comparison: the external config loader supplied a raw buffer that this filesystem did not accept. The probe was corrected privately. No public runtime or sound-buffer change is claimed from that investigation.

Preserve the game and its history

The original ZIP, cartridge, recovered music, graphics, prior release article, browser-save namespace and controller mappings remain unchanged. These are new browser options around the original emulated game, not changes to preserved cartridge bytes. Complete-campaign verification, physical-controller compatibility, native cartridge-save persistence and comparison with physical DS audio remain outside this update's claims.
