DEVELOPMENT UPDATE · NOVEMBER 2, 2026 · 1.1.0
English from the opening.
The remaining Japanese sound-driver boot message now reads “X68000 Sound Driver.” Version 0.02 and the 1990 ZOOM copyright stay intact. NLeseul’s 0.9b beta continues to provide the adventure’s English dialogue and menus.
We inspected the native ZOOM splash, title and all 15 cinematic art assets loaded by the opening program. They contain no Japanese narration captions. The original animation, music and native timing remain unchanged.
The supplement changes only the 70-byte banner area in fresh English System and User working copies, after verifying the base disk. Original DIMs, downloadable base disk identities, the Japanese player and existing checklist keys are retained. Existing snapshots remain compatible; an older restored snapshot retains its original disk bytes and previously rendered screen. Start a fresh session to see the new boot message.
Cold-boot opening and focused compatibility checks cover this supplement. The community translation remains a beta, and a complete campaign translation audit has not been performed.
