How this audio was preserved
Each entry comes from the supplied, unchanged 2 MB cartridge. The private capture harness calls its original sound dispatcher, then records the original Westone Z80 driver through a pinned Genesis Plus GX core. No music was substituted from a soundtrack album. The names and command IDs are the cartridge’s own sound-test labels.
Looping pieces retain their introduction and use a recurring state of the original music sequences. A second pass verifies the same transport. Loop boundaries are observed at video-frame intervals; the web player applies a 3 ms seam correction to avoid a waveform click. Finite pieces play once. Sound effects can be repeated for listening.
The archive covers all 83 sound-test commands: 32 musical pieces, 49 effects, and two silent stop commands. It preserves every audible command in that menu; it does not claim that unused or inaccessible sounds outside this table have been exhaustively ruled out. Read extraction provenance.
