EmulatorJS
The self-hosted player uses retained EmulatorJS 4.2.3 frontend files, including existing COSOM adaptations that disable its automatic remote version check and remove remote core fallback. All retained vendor bytes are unchanged for this Centy edition. See the included frontend license, upstream source and retained historical patch notes.
Genesis Plus GX
The retained single-thread legacy core is Genesis Plus GX, EmulatorJS build of June 14, 2025. See its included license, the EmulatorJS core source and upstream Genesis Plus GX.
COSOM preservation controls
New page controls provide a game-bound chosen save file, an independent browser quick save, optional cheats, a manual story checklist and branch-clearing rewind history. The Genesis file-session modules are a separate adaptation of COSOM’s existing SNES session workflow. They use a different file signature, extension, exact native state validator, game identity and storage namespace.
