Preservation notes

62 music recordings, 305 sounds and sample entries, and 1002 graphics entries are available in the archive. Each media manifest records exactly what was extracted and how its listening or viewing copy was made.

The source was copied without normalization or patches. This records identity to the supplied translation; it is not an independent authenticity assessment.

Machine-readable intake record

Recovered media

The music, image and sound indexes retain extraction coverage and per-item provenance. Recorded cues, decoded raw instrument samples and graphics previews are labeled separately. The ROM retains all original packed data; the media gallery does not imply that every possible animation, palette combination or runtime scene has been reconstructed.

Walkthrough & cheats

The checklist is an original concise main-story route, with selectable lead hero and final route. It is manually checked and does not inspect game memory. Optional class-change steps are marked. It is not an exhaustive treasure or bestiary checklist.

Route fact references: RPGClassics, Zero’s walkthrough and GameFAQs guide index. Name variants follow the supplied fan translation.

Quick-level codes also appear in the supplied local Snes9x cheat file. The RAM-code reference is Stuart Gooding’s original Pro Action Replay research. Health and magic write current values in the three party slots; money writes the three-byte Luc counter. All assists start disabled.

Runtime & editable wrapper

The browser uses the collection’s retained EmulatorJS 4.2.3 frontend and Snes9x legacy 2.0.2 core. Its core package does not embed a source commit; the pinned upstream source reference is documented without claiming exact binary reproducibility.

Adventure files & snapshot slots · 1.1.0

The November 3 handoff is adapted to this exact SNES edition, with explicit file choice, guarded same-file writes, a clearly acknowledged download alternative, eight named snapshot slots and explicit previous-snapshot import. Raw SRAM compatibility is structural; snapshots also bind the exact ROM, core, runtime and serializer.

Release limits

The user requested publication without gameplay testing. The original release received file integrity, JavaScript syntax and deployment checks. The November 3 update adds disposable save-system storage/native/browser checks documented above. Genuine statue-save to chosen OS file, page reopen and in-game Load acceptance remains unverified. Campaign play, cheat behavior and physical controllers have not been play-tested for this edition.
