YOUR CONTROLS

Fight back.

Move / menus: Arrow keys
Genesis A: X
Genesis B: S
Genesis C: Z
Start / game pause: Enter

Press Enter / Start, choose your fighter, then press Start again. Move with the arrows; X calls police backup, S attacks, and Z jumps. Follow the original in-game instructions. The Options menu includes the original difficulty and control choices.

A standard gamepad maps bottom face → A, right face → B, left face → C; Start / Menu → Start. Connect and press a button, then assign it to Player 1 below the game. Hardware availability depends on your browser.

OPTIONAL ASSISTANCE

Your rules.

All options begin off. Change them during play.

Freeze timer Infinite HP Unlimited police specials No life lost on death

All assistance is off. Original rules apply.

Applies to both players. Infinite HP blocks hit damage; falls can still kill. Police calls still wait for the previous sequence and normal action restrictions. Unlimited calls work even if the original stock display is zero. No life loss preserves remaining lives; it does not restore spent ones. Options last for this page session and are separate from snapshot files.

Preservation and runtime

The cartridge bytes are losslessly decoded from the supplied SMD container; its original file is preserved. Optional assistance changes only the running game when selected. This edition uses the self-hosted EmulatorJS 4.2.3 frontend and a pinned Genesis Plus GX core. Extracted music, effects and imagery are separate from gameplay.

Snapshot imports check their format, game identity and checksum, and require a complete native serializer match after loading. A current desktop browser is recommended.
