Jake starts with a Matchbox in Japan; the guide enables its travel ability. This Japanese release retains the hidden room but omits the familiar Matchbox cheat trigger, so the old four-plus-one sequence is restored here as an optional enhancement.
The recovered morgue now includes the west office, original door scripts and walking exits to the hallway and street. The first mortician retreat preserves captured original sprites, speech and timing. The body tray now reveals the original Torn Paper, with source pickup/inventory scripts and original bilingual description windows. Filing cabinets retain their later quest locks. Morgue floor/furniture footprints still include approximations. The full script host layer, quests, combat, remaining rooms, and opening cinematics are not complete.
